You can still get nailed by the rozzers if they give you a tug in something like that although I believe some states laws are more stringent than others. They would be issued with an equivalent to a vehicle rectification order and told to sort it.

Mind you, there's more crazyness than that... open carry of firearms in Texas, concealed carry of firearms in most states, even in bars. M16's and ammo in Walmart. Nutty.

had worse brought in for an mot tbh we have a focus out the back that has it front brake calipers held on with black sealer because someone threaded the caliper slides in the hubs then made a c*nt of trying to tapp out the hubs. the back brake calipers dont move ata all, not even on the hand brake, but thasts because the hand brake cables have snapped and it looks like they have been "soldered" back together it also has duct tape a round a break in one of the front springs, and the back suspension bushes have persihed to such an extend the back end moves more than its staering rack. its exhaust is held on more by faith than any form physical attachment, only 1 cylinder is firing correctly, the battery is about as secure as his passengers seat, which moves only slightly more than my nephews rocking horse. Every warning light is lit, on the dash, there is no coolant, screen wash or pas fluid. and the brake fluid is a s back as the engine oil, which has the consistancey of tar, and the front bumper is about 78% duct tape., however the child seat is fitted correctly and the wipers and wheel trims are brand new. so it has its good points.
