need some advice...

basically im looking for some new speakers to replace my sh*tty 13cm ones, and my 6x9s...

at first i was looking at these...

INFINITY-REF-9603i (6x9s) 300 watt 100 watt rms (£39)

and...

INFINITY-REF-5002i (13cm) 130 watt 45 watt rms (£42)

i have heard infinity are sh*t hot, so stick with them, however for exactly the same spec and half the price i can have these...

i can have these...

JBL-GTO-525e (13cm) 130 watt 45 watt rms (£19!!)

JBL-GTO-936e (6x9s) 300 watt 100 watt rms (£28!!)

so really price wise there is simply no choice lol, but at GTO ANY GOOD?!?!

specs is one thing, but performance is another...

well i went for the JBL set up in the end... £60 for the lot inc delivery...

cant really afford 100 quid on speakers... especially if its just the name, and not a better spec..

i have found infinity have better vocals and the jbl better bass, depends how much you want to spend and what your lookin for. dunno if that helps!

Id agree with jms^^. Ive had both and theyre made by the same company so not hugely different.
