i dont understand itunes!

just deleted all the stuff off itunes had 15gb on ipod and it wiped it as there was nuttin on itunes how do you get round this as i dont want loads of music on my hardrive

You can't.. it has to be in your library.

You could always use anapod or xplay and not use iTunes.

You can, just set the ipod to manually manage music, under the Devices - Summary screen.

Delete tunes from your libary/hard drive and they just stay on the ipod. I have my 20GB ipod set up like this.

after alot of swearin i figured it out and doin it the rich way, might have a look at xplay or alike as itunes seems s**t but i think i got it dialed!although seems s**t for like album art
