Hi, i have had this noise for a bit now, but its starting to drive me insane.
When i go down a bumpy road it ratles, that dont bother me, i have low profile tyres and expected more vibrations, plus it sounds cool.
But the main problem is the creak i seem to be getting from some part of the car. Its very hard to tell where its comming from, but i have had a mechanic mate in it, and some other mates and wherever they sit it sounds like its comming from there. But when we check, there appears to be nothing wrong with that part of the car. I personally think its the front right somewhere, but then again i am the driver, so it sounds like its comming from there.
It seems to come along most times i turn, my machinic mate asked me to check what conditions it happens under. The problem is, it doesnt seem to care whats happening, it just does it, come rain or shine it still creakes. Cold or warm it still does it, although it seems to be less when its warm. If i push the car down from all points you cant hear a thing. If i turn the wheel while stationary or going really slow, it doesnt do anything. But if i get a slight bit more speed up it does it. If i take a slow corner at speed its fine. It just seems to be 90* ones that cause it to happen.
The car is completely unmodified apart from wheels. But it happend on the stock ones.
Its a 1991/2 Clio RT (Grey if that helps )
Oh and i have noticed everytime it does it because i have my music up lowd.
Oh and another thing, i did have a front end prang with a deer in scotland. But there wasnt that much damage to anything, just the body got crumpled. The entire crash damage was repaired and the car checked over. I cant remember if it happend before the crash or not.
Any help would be appreciated.
