I have two questions can someone help me please?

I was doing a clear out of the interior of my car and under one of the seats i've found a connector with nothing connected to it and I cant seem to find an answer to why this is?

Secondly I am bored of the silver dash trims and I would like to make them black can someone tell me how to take them off?

Dash trims just pull off the MKII, no screws

It's a 2005 so I am not sure what MK and phase this is.

The connector could be from the cd multichanger
my 172 has one but not sure about a 1.2?

Possibly for the seat airbag, do you have any lights on the dash that are airbag releated?
I know that there is a wire under my seat that isnt connected but cant remember if its the same as this tbh.

Nope no warning lights and even with the snap on their are no faults? I'm confused. But are the dash trims just pull off?

Trims are just clipped on mate just need a little persuasion
