  1.2 Renault clio
Hi guys I’m new to this form.

I need some help bad… I’ve recently got new sport seats out of a mk2 sports. (Dream car as why I got the seats I love em) and I have a mk3 1.2 2008.

I understand I have an even floor and the mk2 has an uneven floor but has anyone successfully fitted them in?.

It looks like I have to create my own brackets to get the chair itself connected to my stock mk3 chair runners.

Has anyone out there found any conversion kits for this or am I swimming in the deep end?.

Thank you to whoever can help me out I would really appreciate it.

Thanks guys/gals.

Joe :) .

(Ps I really love these seats and don’t wanna get rid of em :’( )

Sadly this will probably be more trouble than it's worth. Your best bet would be to get a pair of seats from a 197 or 200, they're built on the same platform as your car so should be a direct swap. I know this doesn't really help your current situation, but it might be easier in the long run!

Cheers chazz appreciate the honesty, it has become a long mission trying to figure out a good ride hight/space for the seat adjustments and having room for it to adjust.. There is a light tho so I’m gonna keep pushing😂, I’ve got some brackets drawn up for it to fit the mk3 runner/slider so I’ll update the results at some point 😂.

Swapping your mk3 1.2 for a mk2 1.2 might be an easier option :ROFLMAO:
I'm sure it won't be impossible if they physically fit, but it'd require some decent fabrication skills I'd think, interested to see how you get on either way.

Not gonna lie that though did cross my mind, but if my vin number on my mk3 didn’t have my name, birth year and my firsts hose door number I would lmaoo. Can’t lie the mk2 does look better in my opinion.

But yeah I’ll deffo post the results loool.
