I need a little help!!

Hi guys, sorry if this is the wrong forum or section, I'm not much of a Clio person myself, but a friend of mine has bought an old 96' 1.2 Clio phase 3 and is looking to do some track modifications.

Its completely stock so far, I was wondering if anyone could suggest what parts would be most beneficialand where to find them. We've had a hell of a job tracking down pieces.

Ive suggested to him, a coilover kit aether body roll is crazy! Some strut braces, decat, and cool airintake to start with, but am unable to source the parts, any help, suggestions or links to parts would be appreciated as hes dying to have some fun with it!

Doesn't need any of it... yet! Needs to learn to drive the car around a track, only then do you start up grading to the big boys bits.

Brake Fluid, Brake lines, Discs and pads (Brembo HC package from eBay), Tyres like Michelin PE2/PS3's No not Semi slicks like R888 etc, refreshed suspension because dampers are ridiculously cheap from Renault (although its cheaper to buy Eibach sportline springs as replacements over Renault) and finally tuition.

Coilovers are a good mod but you need to see where you're improving the car and how "you can't just jump in the ring with all the aces because you think you can box". The fact is, even though its a 1.2 he will still s**t himself before the car does. learn to drive fast and then improve the car.

Rob Harrison used to do track days in a 1.2 and had massive amounts of fun, but you need to build up to the next stage. At that point he might be able to buy a 1*2.
