Any advice on what sites to use to host would be cool. Would like it for hosting videos and images, so need big bandwidth at minimum cost.

There are shed loads of hosting companies just have a look around. I use liquidsix hosting. As for hosting from home, you will need static IP and you normally get this from good broadband pakages.
