Ideas....?

  Liquid Yellow 182 FF
Hey peeps,

Here's my 1.2 Clio, come to abit of a blank, not really sure what else to do to her? Lowering extra (Coilovers) are out the question, but id be grateful for some sensible suggestions? I dont want anything to expensive either if it can be avoided, lol.

Here's when I first got her:

172 ph2 rear bumper would be nice addition

Car looks well. Not my first choice of rims but they suit.

Clear Side Indicators
Diadem indicator bulbs (blue bulbs that flash orange) (Much better than silvervisions imo)
Colour code side strips/front/back bumper?

Is it expensive to colour code?

There are some people that have done it themself, rub down, paint laquer etc but its probs best to get a bodyshop to spray it all up. Best just to phone round a few and get quotes.

Also I forgot to add, get some Bosch Aerotwin window wipers, looks smart

Would it be easy to fit? Straight swap?

The rims were on offer

a 172 Ph2 item would be a straight swap. iirc there is a little bit of an issue with the rear arch liners. "B5 BDJ" has one and may be able to tell you more, or try other users on here.

Ok thanks mate. I wouldn't be confident doing it myself tbh. BS it is.

You could try colour coding the bump strips. They're easier to do and being smaller imperfections are not so noticeable.
I didn't have a clue when I did mine and they turned out quite well, there's a few guides in the guides section.
Pretty cheap to do and at the end of the day if you don't like it you can just replace them again with standard black plastic ones. They pop on and off pretty easily.

Edit: I've got a 172 rear bumper on my non sport. Bumper is a straight swap (direct fit). I haven't bothered putting the arch liners back on. Pretty easy to modify them slightly if you do want them on though. They're not absolutely necessary though.

And I take it the 172 ph2 never came in my red? So id need to have a re-spray done.

hmmm, tempting. Only problem ive got is finding the correct red colour for my motor?

  182 Full of Fat
Think someone has said - get some aero wipers (£7 delivered off the bay). Transform the front view imo

Yea that is a slight problem, there's a rare chance someone might have already had one resprayed, but the chances of finding one for sale in your colour are limited, so you'd have to factor in a respray.
Does look so much better though!

Edit: Respray diamonds? Although Chrome does match your alloys I guess.
De wiper the rear?

Yea, thing is im not 100% sure what colour red my car is, LOL

colour code it dude!

i did mine myself with absolutely no idea what the hell i was doing - turned out fine tbh!
and it would look great in that colour!

there used to be a dCi in your colour with silver 182 rims & xenons IIRC - looked amazing! wasn't too low either. It got crashed though I think :(

EDIT: why are coilovers out of the question?!

Hmmmm, im tempted to do the sides myself, and i'll see how they come out. How do I find my cars actual colour code?

Coilovers are out the question because they cost a hella lot, and my Dad would be pissed if I slammed it that much, lol

£150 too much? lol.
See the group buy section fella, you dont have to go slammed with them!

Not certain on your colour code though, the only way i knew is that MK2 non-sports only came in Pear Black, so...

  G51 BEN
RS grill.... Calipers in blue or something :)
CS sticker somewhere, but definately colour coded.
I did it with my red 1.2... completely transformed the car IMO :) And do the bullets silver, or same colour as the car.

  Yozz'd up 182
Colour code it yourself.

I did the same with that colour, aswell as spraying a whole RS kit.

Easy enough just take your time.

Edit: Old picture but shows the diff a sport bumper makes
