The engine is f*cked, he claims he's had it rebuilt but they did a crap job of it. The work has 8 months warranty but he can't be bothered taking it back to get it fixed.

But it's mint, just not sound.

Why would you not take it back though? Paid good money for an engine rebuild and its fooked? thats the point of a warranty isnt it???? :S

Had the clio lookd at today, turned out the timing was out of place, called up the rebuild place, he first said its not covered then said bring it down and he'll sort it out. No point having half a clio, rather pay a Pro to put it right

so its only the timing thats out? has the rebuild place got the proper tools to do it? renault ones? if they havent then yeh, take it somewhere else and pay for it, otherwise get it back to the rebuild place.

Speak to citizens advice. They can be very helpful with letters etc in cases like this.

How do you know it's either?

Is it reliable just because it's a Nissan, or did the did the seller tell you that? You should be careful as some people don't always tell the truth.

Fast? I doubt it in the true sence of the word.
