I'm always amazed by this.

These guys are f**king amazing.

I've always liked bikes, ever since being young but my mother will throw me out if I get a bike, hence getting into cars. I will have one someday, I'll probably last about an hour after purchase though.

I always used to have bikes, got rid a few years ago and was always planning to get another one, but since a good friend of me and Lesley VERY nearly died on one and will almost certainly never get full use back of his legs etc, she has just point blank banned me from having one, she hates them.

Will probably just get a MX'er again, pretty hard to die on one of those as no lorries about, lol.

LOL! My friends Dad had a very bad accident one day. His mum made him promise to never get one again so long as she lives. He's currently waiting for her to pop her clogs so he can get another.

The bike was about a quarter of the length it should have been after the crash. Punctured a lung, tore his spleen, broke both legs, most ribs, few cracked vertebrae, one arm and his foot. A drunk driver pulled out on him and he got t-boned. My friend was supposed to be going out on the back of it that day but felt a bit sick in the morning so stayed home, then his dad decided to go a different route than usual.

Strange turn of events really but he's lucky to be alive. I remember going to the hospital that night with my mate and it was horrific. He was conscious and was about to go into theater so asked the doctor what his chances were to which the doctors response was "if there's anything you need to say to your family, now is the time to do it".

Pretty scary looking back.
