Car  Fiesta ST Stage 3
Well after selling the Clio 172 mk1 about 4 odd years ago im off to look/buy a 2000 W reg 172 mk1 this saturday. After selling the clio I have had a Honda Accord Type R Peugeot 106 gti and just sold my EVO 4 (With EVO 6 engine ) So back to the Clio it is :) did love the car and for me its one of the best all round cars performance running costs mpg etc .

Aye not bad matey, unfortunatley i had a bit of an incident with my Phase 1 a month ago which resulted in it being written off (ill pm you the thread lol)

On the hunt again for another, i felt my time was far to short lived with it, perfect balance of economy and performance for the money you can spend...!

Glad to see your back sir!
 
Yeah thats just what i was thinking . The EVO must have only done 17-20 mpg when driven slow :eek: and was costing me over £15 a day in fuel lol so have seen a nice looking mk1 172 with the alloy bonnet and green shift light (a must for me) for a very nice price :approve:

Well it looks like im going to be looking far southward to unearth one that was in as good condition as mine :(

Or downwards in your case :rasp: If you come very far down south i do a very nice cup a tea lol

Just got the old girl home Big thanks to Mike he is a top man car is in great condition and drives spot on . I forgot just how good thoses cars are to drive very happy :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D
 
Pic of the new girl ( nicked from Mike will get some up later ) realy loving this car again so so so good to drive engine breaks handling just everything . One very happy owner :):):):):):)

Thanks it is a great exhample and drives spot on . Sorry Danny it is mint but im sure you will find a mint one soon .
 
I did love that car to was in pirate black and great fun but clio is a beter all rounder as fast as the ATR better in the twist eeeees and 36 MPG vs 22 ish :approve:
