Images seem to take ages to load :x

When i open an image it seems to take forever to load...


i double click the image and it seems to hang on "generating preview" for ages... Now i seem to reformat once a month for one reason or another, and it always does it. And it also did it on my old computer...

Am i the only one with this problem?

And is there a fix for this? If not, is there any other software to get thats rapid to load and you can just click one image, then use the arrow keys to browse through all the other images in the same folder?

Excellent piece of software, you can also auto upload them all to Picasa web albums and send the links to friends family etc.

how quick is it to load? i want it to be snappy, just like picture fax viewer... but not take as long to load the images

You have to load Picasa up first, but then its super quick, ive got thousands of pics and it handles it very well, its not a bloated piece of software.
