Imessage help!

Hi guys,

Basically after doing this ios7 update my imessage and facetime is no longer working?! Its says when I try too log in too either one 'could not sign in. Please check your network connection and try again'

Any ideas? My Id and password are correct btw!!

A mate of mine had this and went into Apple to ask them about it. He said basically because everyone is trying to log in at once so it will take some time.
