Who knows the best place to get imitation renault parts?

Someone must have bought imitation renault parts before??? Comon Guys!!!

have you tried euro car parts although it depends what your after.

There are imitation or generic parts which are identical in every way for most types of car, which I know that independent garages can get at HALF THE COST of dealer supplied parts. If there is a warranty to consider when replacing parts, they arent allowed to use these IDENTICAL cheaper parts, which really annoys my local garage, as it can save the customer a lot of money.

One day when I was in the garage, the owner was showing and explaining this very thing to a Ford customer, and he had in his hand two identical parts and they had the identical manufacturers name stamped on the bottom, but warranty regulations dont permit these SAME parts to be used, as the cheaper one hadnt got Ford marked on it . It is a sheer RIP-OFF as both parts had come from the same place.

After a 1.Front Slam Panal(Whole Unit) 2.Nearside Headlamp(+finisher) 3.Nearside Indicator 4.Grill

Its a Mk1Phase2 and no1 from the net has these parts! and im scared i might have to hand some money over to renault!

Any Ideas?

i had a pattern bonnet and front bumper, the most ill fitting poor things in the world, dont bother, the front bumper want ever and the bump bits are clip on, the bonnet was not flush and stuck out he front by a good 1.5cm, and it was as far back as it could go!!!

crap stuff, OE is best in this case.

Most of the stuff youd want as a pattern part you cant get, Renault only, which is bloody annoying, especially on a Sunday morning when their parts dept are closed.

When I got my new starter, Renault was the cheapest! I collected it cus it was on my way to Uni, so I saved on P+P for one thing..

Was quite suprised!
