Hi
Got a problem with a 1.2 02 plate
Some times the immobiliser will not deactivate (light flashes constantly) and hence I can't start the car
. Happens quite alot when I go to get petrol, and I end up having to push the car out of the way, lol.
Eventually after about 20 to 30mins of trying to start it, the immobiliser will deactivate and I can start the engine
Have tried spare key but makes no difference
Also the key blip will occasionally stop working and will not lock/unlock although doing the re-sync with the locking button on central console usually fixes it. Note I've fitted a new battery to the key, so it's not that
Now reading past topics on this forum I'm still not sure what to check first
TDC Sensor?
Decoder Ring?
Faulty key?
