import warranty help

i need some bits doing but when renault typed my details in the computer it came up that i had no warranty.

should i just take in a copy of this letter? has anyone else had any probs, car is over two years old but it does state in the letter 3years total

Hmmm, i didnt need to produce this letter and i have an "import" - they did the work without question.

up untill two years it would have been fine, they said at the dealer that they only give 2yrs.

if yours is a 182 mate it not gonna be over 2 years old so you wouldnt have a had a problem anyway.

i would just take it in OR goto another dealer !

checked with the service department n mine has warranty upto 05/07 its should be on the computer..... phone renault CS and ask them to update your record...... give them the chasis number n tell them to update it to give you the 3 yrs then go back to the dealer and get them to check the computer system again...... should be ok!
