Impreza STI turbo failure

After a spirited drive back from Swansea last night, my car started making funny noises while underload, a sort of light rattle, i knew it wasn't the bottom end because that sounds like a bloody hammer drill, anyway the sound was coming from the turbo.

Quickly whipped it off today to find a "little" movement in the shaft.

On a positive note, i did find a Aquamist water injection system fitted which i didn't know about.

IHI Chocolate turbo. Although my Garrett GT2871R shat its ball bearings into the sump lol
