Anybody know what wattage the standard speakers are? Just dont want to whack a new head unit in and blow the speakers or them not work haha.

No cage in it, make sure you get the right cage for you headunit

im presuming it will need one then and not fit in straight away? well not fit but be secure?

If you have got a new headunit it will come with its own new cage.

Otherwise sure any audio place will be able to get you a compatible one with your unit that it locks into.
