in need of advice for lowering car..

I want my mk 3 to be lowered a good 50mm or more but i cant find any 50mm lowering springs does anyone know where to get them? and i had a mate suggest to me something called "coilies" anyone know what they are? lol Thanks.

Coilies = coilover they replace the suspension completely with new adjustable units looking at a couple hundred quid for them tho.

search clio coilovers on e-bay. You'll get all different types on there for different prices (from 400 to about 1000). Or just go for some lowering springs if you just want looks not performance (can be found on e-bay too)
