Inactive sim

I put my sim in my gfs old k800i and it comes up as inactive sim, any ideas?

Phone may be locked to another network and you can't use your Sim in that phone until you get it unlocked

Hmm well it's a 3 phone she says it's not locked and I search for networks and select o2 and stiill says the same even put it just on gsm mode

Yep, her phone will be locked to 3. You'll need to get it unkocked to work with your sim.

Well i spoke to her and she said she found it ages ago so i think it has been IMEI blocked so its no good.
