Indicator/headlight stalk... Including fault with wipers

I wondered if anyone could shine some light on the issue I'm having. I was having trouble with my indicators switching my lights on. Decided to have a look and a cable dropped out of the connector (attached to this post) which also operates my wipers. The indicator and headlight stalk is working as should do when I touch the cable on the contact, but I was wondering if anyone has had the cable/connector replaced before without having to buy a full new stalk with it?

I know it's a late reply but I've just spent the evening picking the broken ends of several wires out of the green connector and pressing the cable in to get the lights working again. Use a pin or something like that to get the wires out and then a small screwdriver to press the wire back in.
