induction kit for mk2 ?

hi us there any point putting a induction kit in my mk2?

Pros cons?

What difference will I notice

And can anyone recommend a good one to buy thanks

What engine?

I had a 57i K&N on my 172 cup. People rave on about how bad they are for performance with heat soak an so on but will you really notice a loss of 3bhp?? I didn't notice any loss of performance after fitting mine and the noise it made makes it so worth it!

is it just really a better engine noise it produces? will it have any negative impact

It's a new free flowing air filter so will be ok and do NO damage to you engine.

The noise it will make will be a deep growl but you will like it!

Not much point putting one on a 1.2 IMO I've put them on small engined cars in the past and no difference I've put a pipercross panel in mine and seems happier for much smoother cold start idleing (not sure how to spell that!) but no real noticeable performance gains!

so basically just te noise is what I'd notice... doubt I'll spend 70 odd quid on a high end induction kit if a 20 quid ripspeed one will have the same effect. Thanks
