induction kit problem??

hi guys, the bracket that was holding my induction kit on my 172 has snapped and the induction kit is hanging a bit.
Will this affect its performance??
Its been like that since i got the car, so don't know weather to sort it, thanks, paul

Aslong as it isnt hanging off or buckled in any way it wont make a differance.
