Racing Blue 182
I have just fitted a piper cross viper onto my 182. Which doesn't seem to have done a lot but it seems to lose power around the mid range. So fine low revs, then drops and kicks in again like the cam at around 4000rpm. My mechanic mate thinks that a remap will do the job as this will tell the ECU that it's cold air being taken in and itll accommodate for the extra amounts of air.
I can't afford a remap atm but I have bought a rubbish chip that I know won't have any affect performance wise but it claims to tell the ECU about the cold air intake. Has anyone had this problem before or any cheap fixes to this problem as I don't wanna waste more money buying and fitting a panel air filter in the original air box.
Cheers
Luke
