IMO Depends, everyday use and commuting to work etc Panel filter. If you are into track days induction kit such as Pipercross viper All depends on what you want on your car.

for a 182 i'd use a replacement p.filter. when i ran a induction kit in my 172 it really sufferd in the heat, even when i had a ram pipe in the grill. i.kit make nice noise tho!

it depends what you want to do mate an induction is better when you are doing cams, chip zorst etc for better air flow but if not stick with a itg panel mate

panel filter is the best really, as its cheaper than an induction kit and probably does the same an an IK.
If your gonna get an induction kit, your best going for a fully closed one ie. viper, bmc etc

and if youv'e got a lot of money get a maxogen :)
