Induction kits on ebay...

Just got my 172 and want to stick an induction kit on it, seen a few on ebay, anyone got any thoughts about the performance/price of them?

none of the above will offer a performance gain or value for money on a 172, your better off buying an ITG pannel filter which will cost you £40 and give similar gains to an enclosed induction kit

I did read a few posts about panel filters, but... im more interested in the sound than the performance. i suppose i shoulda said to begin with!!

As i understand it, panel filters dont give you that mental noise :/

with those kits your 172 will loose a small amount of power and pick up, but if you want and like the noise then i would go for either an ITG cone filter here - http://www.merlinmotorsport.com/product_info.php?cPath=1615_1618&products_id=173 only £50

Ive just come from a punto 1.2 (60bhp!!) so i dont think ill notice a loss of a couple of bhp for the moment

Im leaning towards the K+N at the moment, but whats the score with ITG? id never heard about them until i joined this site... you dont work for them do you? lol
