induction kits

i was wondering which is the best...........

im not that bothered about a massive increase in power , but i wanted something with
a decent noise to it!!

my brother has a CTR with a simota kit on(exactly like a K&N typhoon) and a standard exhaust and it sounds great.

Has anyone got any sound clips of their induction kits so i can choose the sound i want!!!

Halfrauds do a universal one for about £26 by all accounts if you just want noise!

If all your after is noise go for an open one like an old style K&N (and lose power). A mid way option is semi open / closed i.e. Hill Power. For best performance and maybe not as much noise go for a closed one i.e. iTG.

But regardless of which one you go for it will not sound like a CTR on full attack, especially when in VTEC zone.

Friend of mine had one on his CTR (VEM or something) and I was following in my Hill Power Kitted 172 and all I could hear was his car!!!

this is the kit i got mate, fits on nicely in minutes!! sounds great as well! could probs do with a heat shield to be honest, to deter the engine heat from the kit.
