im looking at getting an induction kit for my 172 i know people say itg are good but are there any others worth considering?? would just having a cone filter cause heat soak?

BMC CDA are good enclosed kits. They are around 180

The best kit is probably a IGT Moxogon at about 260

Itg maxogen, are probably the best induction kits you can buy for a 1*2.

Just keep the standard box mate and get a ITG panel filter (from k-tec). that's what i did. Your paying out the ass for something you don't really need and for the money it doest really do much to be honest! you are best saving that money for 1. manifold match 2. De cat pipe 3. ECU re map. There the best mods in my opinion for your engine unless you get a turbo of course!

I have BMC Kit and is perfect imo. Sounds great, not to expensive and doesn't soak up heat so no power loss

All depends if your planning to build the car up with other future engine mods or if your just after a bit of noise..
