info on Forged Internals needed. 300bhp goal

Hi,

I'm in early stages of looking into forged internals. I already have a 182 turbo conversion with 241bhp but its on standard internals and a low compression head gasket. it runs perfectly but I've got some 197 4pot Brembos coming to put on and after that I want to start looking at taking it over 300bhp. nothings going to happen quickly but I want to start gaining an understanding of what i need to look for.

what type of pistons/rods am i going to need to make it reliable?

and what else would I need to achieve 300bhp reliably engine wise

I know its not going to be cheap but if there is reasonably priced parts people know of tried and tested I would appreciate any info

so I'm not far away, looks like I mainly need

forged pistons (so I can get away without forged rods?)

Cat Cams (are these essential? what benefits will these give?)

oil cooler, larger intercooler (will ED's not be sufficient?) and some data logging

and non-restrictive air filter
