Infrared Receivers for sky/dvd to Tv

Hello I bought a TV bed but the sky box and dvd player go under the bed. Obviously this is a problem because it means the remotes wont work.

I need something that i can put by the tv as it pops up which will allow me to point the controlers directly at the tv? so i dont have to lean over to make the remotes work..

Anyone know of anything?

You can get a thing for Sky called a TVLink which is designed so that you can watch Sky on another TV without another box, don't know if that would do the trick but it comes with an infra red thingy
