inlet manifold

Has anyone polished their inlet manifold? If so what method did you use?

I tried to make a start on mine with a wire brush in a drill, made it shine but didnt even touch the bumpy inlet, just made the surface shiney.

Any help would be great.

lots and lots of sand paper starting off with something like 80 then keep moving up in steps till you get to somethung like 1500 then polish it up with a drill
