Reet complete noob/r****d with this

Basically trying to install a programme on my W7 laptop. So, thrash the disk in, off it goes, get so far, then displays "unable to execute SQL script (AddChanges).\ Check the SQL server rights of "sa" user"

Now what the hell does this mean~? :S

I have had this programme installed before on this laptop, but I uninstalled it (cant remember why). Any body able to tell me what I need to do? It must be explained like talking to someone who works in shelf stacking in your local Tescos ;)

Any help really appreciated

Sounds like you havent got access to a database that the program needs

If you tell us what you need to install it'd help

What's the program?

Sounds like it either needs sql installed locally or it needs to find a sql database on the network which you don't have permissions for.

Oh its proper job, its diagnostic software for a brand of intruder alarm, used for either direct or remote connection. I've had it installed on this laptop before, and also have it on a netbook, works fine on that. It seems this SQL server 2005 is installed with this disk??

Help me geeks of CS :)
