is it only adrian flux who are offering policies that cover nitrous at the mo?

i want some for my 1.2 for some cheap extra power but dont wanna risk not insuring if i can help it!

anyone whos insured with nitrous, what sort of premium increase was it?

Yup afaik adrian flux are the only people that will insure you with it installed, however they dont cover you if you use it! lol

ha! but if i had an accident how would they prove i had used it on the road? im guessing that any other company would not pay out if you dont declare?

correct, if u dont declare, then they will, void your policy almost immediatley they discover u have it fitted, and if u dont have insurance, then they will inform plod, wich means u will get shafted by them as well as the insurance company

Greenlight quoted me £90 extra a year for nitrous when I got a quote.. wasnt planning to get it, I was just interested.

This was on a policy costing about £1150.. so under 10% increase for the gas..

if i got a quote like that id be pretty happy. im re-newing in a couple of motnhs so ill try to ask around.

Any other companies i could try apart from flux and greenlight?

If you crashed then the gas tank valves would be open and the system would be armed, therefore they would know,

My mates brother crashed a supra (twin turbo with 100 shot of NOS) overtook a bus approaching a crossroads and hit a vehicle pulling out, his 2 passengers died and he tried to convince the police he was doing 35mph!!

Not feckin likely in a 3.5ltr TT with NOS!
He inside at the moment, police investigators found nos system was active!
