insurance problem...

Just a quick query, now my friend uses her car to travel between her different work clients, now shes just told me her policy is for social, domestic and pleasure including travelling to a single place of work...

she is working as a carer travelling to different places and as she was coming out from a clients drive she got hit by a van, i was wondering if she may have problems with insurance?

anyone shed any light on this?

My guess would be probably, if the insurance co. found out.

yeah thats true, but she has to inform her insurance company anyway, but it was rather a big one and if it goes through insurance i wondered if she would have problems with it :S

Yep,

For one she was at fault, for two she doesnt have business insurance.

How ever...

She could say she has been in a bump, if they ask what she was doing... She was just visiting relatives after work (therefore she had a uniform on)

Technically her policy is void, if it's a high value claim the insurers may do some very careful investigations.
