Insurance Query

Ok, my sister has been on her husbands insurance for the last two years but not as a named driver, she is now looking at getting her own insurance but while she was on her husbands she has an accident...

...My question is, because it was his insurance and she wasnt even a named driver, would this have counted against her and would she need to declare it for her own insurance it would it have gone against her husband as it was his insurance?

Cheers

The question will state, have YOU been in an accident, the answer is obviously yes, so she should defo declare.

Depending on the accident etc it might not make much difference, as she has no NCB anyway to have lost.
