Insurance question for peeps with 2 cars

Hi Guys,

For those of you that have two cars, how have you gone about insuring them? Have you paid out full insurance on both cars or have you managed to find an insurance company that has done some sort of deal??

Hmm well Im covered on my one FC and all others TPT&T - so I used a second car TPF&T (not very often tho) so I would assume you would just tell the company what you want and they will give you a price!

I use a company called Bell Direct they are a insurance company not a broker!

My first car is insured with them as normal (no claims discount etc..)

The second car they will match the no claims of the first policy, so even if the first car costs a bit more to start with (which in my case it didnt because they were still the cheapest) it pays off cos you get the same amount of discount on the second car!

It a good deal all round, cos the insurers are getting more business from you, and you are getting to use your NCD on two (or more) cars. I suppose their thinking is that you can only drive one car at a time, hence the NCD being available on more than one car.
