insurance - what would u do

my insurance is due soon.....

to renew my policy with nu its £580 but not allowed to add any more mods to have insurance with af its £1000 for as many mods as i want.

what would u guys do

Stick with Norwich Union at £580. A 1.2 16V isnt worth modding. Save your money and then buy a cup next year.

Does the £1000 insurance cover the mods like for like as alot of companies will insure a modded car but wont replace the mods if you have to claim.

If thats the case then you will be paying £420 more for insurance plus £xxx for mods and it anything happens to the car youll still only get back a standard 1.2 clio which is the same as you would have if you went with the £580 quote.

IMHO I would take the £580 quote for now and wait untill youve got a few more year ncd under your belt.
Just a thought.
