And yes, technically you should inform them, but Renault now do colour coding as std, so i'd imagine you'd be safe.
 
Norwich union didnt charge mr mrs anymore when she colour coded her mini - this may have been because they didnt have a clue what we were on about ;)
 
ASDA (underwritten by NW) want £50 to add mine :( But like Ali said new ones come as standard so could be alright.
 
nah dont bother telling em - prob wont know what yuo mean and like others have said colour coding is used all the time now
