Im getting the car lowered 35mm on Friday, how much extra would it add on to my insurance, im with Elephant.co.uk btw.?!

phone them up and ask, but dont tell them your doing it, say you are considering it, but want to find out how much it will cost first. I cant imagine it will add much cost to your premium.

Andyman said that it cost him an extra £40 but that was with shocks so shouldnt be much at all then!

Not having a stab at you mate but you'd be getting robbed.Im with TESCO car insurance 3 years no claims,22 year old and no convictions.£950 a year

Mate I'm well aware of the fact Im getting robbed. 6 years of driving and I have never, ever paid under a grand.

Its the postcode that does it I'm afraid. This year was £990 with elephant

- 6 NCB
- Sp30 from May 2001
- No claims in last 3 years
- 54 plate Clio 182 with decat and full system, trophy seats and wheels, soon to have H&Rs
- On the drive way
- 16k a year miles
- value say 8.5k
- full NCB protection
- legal cover
- courtesy car

Maybe Neil@greenlight can give me an approximate quote by PM eh?

Pretty confident I could get the price for you between £750 and £790 with a £300xs. You would need to put the catalytic converter back on or a "sports cat" as we cannot put a car manuafcatured after 1993 through with a de-cat

I've always found Elephant excellent with mods. My Exhaust, IK and GrpN ECU cost bugger all really. GrpN ECU has just cost me £10.40!!
