Insurance

  dCi 65 + C2 (<Sold)
Took out my own insurance policy today, with Admiral.

I've been driving for two years now and this is my third.

I drive a 1.2 98 Clio and have had one claim worth £500.

£636 over 12 months. (£53 p/m)

As a named driver I was £430 last year.

Pretty expensive but Admiral were cheaper than anywhere else I looked!

So next year I'll be 21 with 3 full driving years and hopefully 1 years NCB.

Anybody estimate what price I'll be looking at for the same car?

Broughty Ferry postcode so it'll be a decent area, try getting a quote in Fintry and watch the prices sky rocket :dapprove:

If you want a price for next year just put your dates a year forward.

Category A postcode.

Don't know why it's so high, £150 voluntary excess as well. Also it's 3rd party F+F.

Gonna put dates forward now.

£366 with Admiral again, but that'd rise to £460 I think with direct debit. How any of you young c*nts can afford any sort of decent car is beyond me.

In my 3rd year I paid £260 for a 1.2 16v. I was policy holder. I'm pretty sure they must have made a mistake, but all details were correct so I took it. I had 2 years NCB though.
