Guess this kinda comes under security.

Just rang my insurence company to declair my bucket seats and harnesses, and have been told that unless it effects the vlaue or performance of the car i dont need to delcair it.

This sounded too good to be true, so i got him to go check, and yes i only need to declair mods that effect the value or performance of the car

700 to declare just his wheels and exhaust!!!!

Sounds too good to be true. but if i were you i would still ring them when you do a mod and get them to add it to your policy as they may try and get out of paying up if they need. They might say the seats save weight so give better performance or something stupid.
