insuring a car for 1 - 2 months?

any companies around that will just insure you for a month or two??

my clio is up for renewal towards the end of june, but im hoping to sell it towards the end of summer to get a cheap run around for winter.

thing im worried about is, the clio costing say 1000 to insure for the year, selling it after a month and then that company only refunding me say 300quid to insure a cheap run around,
when i could pay for example 100 a month to insure the clio with one company, sell it and insure the cheap run around for say 300 quid with another??

adrian flux also do small time covers as well - not bad prcies IMO

or just get a policy and pay it monthly, then when you cancel you just stop the payments...
