Intalling my New HD

hi

have just recvied my new HD a sony m850mp , i have tryed to fit it in my car but the wires that were conected to my old renault orgainal radio are not the ones that fit in the sony , i have been to halfords and they said they do not do a lead for the 2001 clio

CAN SOME ONE HELP

are there connectors on both ends of the wiring loom???

there was a user the other day had the same problem with his Sony HU, he bought an american one and needed ISO conntectors crimped onto one end

where did you buy your head unit???

yeah mine is an american 1 , only cuz i is a lot cheaper to get them from there , i have found out what cable i need now it it the 16 pin sony adapter to ISO , the lead is called pc3-433

your radio wont work with the unit being american

Yeah the radio wont work and that lead ur talking about is well pricey. Take it to an ICE dealer and theyll wire it up to an ISO adapter lead and then itll be sorted. P.s. Im the guy who had exactly the same issue only a week ago! I was well worried about sorting it but its all good now. Let me know if u have an issues.

well i went intoi my local halfords brought the lead i quoted in the thread before put it to getther and it works everyhing the radio is fine

That lucky ur radio works. Can u get capital and kiss fm!??! I cant i can get stations....just no good ones...not that its an issue for me.
