Integra and 172?

  A SHED!
People often say the integra is a better car to tune, engine wise? whereas the clio 172 is hard to tune? Right my is question is,does this mean that you get more bhp from mods to a integra in comparsion to the clio? Say, you get a better response in terms of power by adding exhaust/filter cobination? cheers

Id have an integra anyday over a 172, Much better car and quite rare. As fro mods im not sure what car would get best gains from what but the integra already has a headstart with more power.

integras are ugly and not very driveable round town since all the power is at 20 million rpm, id have a 172 much more easy to live with

B18C's are fine to drive around town, not the most torquey but they pull well enough in every gear - how fast do you actually want to be going?!

Integra are a better car than the clio especially the DC5 (different league) They have go soon may developed bits.

The clio is fun but the biggest issue compared to the Integra is the Gearbox. The Honda's is magic and the clio's appaling, it makes driving the honda a pleasure.

Std vs std theres not much in it but tuned i would say the honda.

As said, standard trim there's bugger all in it really. Top gear did a group test with a mk1 172, teg dc2 and a ford racing puma.

The Teg was slowest round the track, the clio beat it by about 0.08 if a second, the Puma caned them all by about a second and a half.

Clio also posted the best 0-60 mark.

As for the tunability, Integra has a much greater potential IMO, those B18C engines are rock solid, plus I think Honda has a much bigger selection of the aftermarket tuning parts.

But they're great cars in stock trim already - I definitely want one after my clio.
