yup 100% agree my friend - do you have a wheel? whats your online ID i'll try and get you added and give you a race next time you are on although its hard with no private rooms
they should make the online lobby like the lobby that was in C&C Red Alert 2 - it was a very good lobby and worked extremly well - it was also quite fast unlike the GT5p lobby I hope this changes!!

Freedom? Wut? Errr ok whatever. However, I very much doubt I'll be buying the final game unless it proves to actually drive well, so it has actually cost them at least one sale.
thats fair enough I know i'll be buying it anyway as I dont own a n Xbox and the only real reason i got the ps3 was for the blueray player and the fact I could play GT5(a bit lame yes i know!).. you should rent it when it comes out to see what its like

That's another thing about it which was a huge let down in this day and age, no voicechat and no private lobbies etc. The options for online were abysmal.
No wheel, I'd been considering my options what with having the xbox as well I wanted a wheel to do both so I'm probably going to invest in a fanatec. I don't see the point of a 300 degree wheel and I wasnt prepared to buy a G25 then have to go buy a second high end wheel for the xbox.
sweet that makes sense - I only bought the logitech gt wheel as I haddn't bought myself anything in a while was 100% worth it it changes the game so much as you can feel it slipping and skidding there bumps on the track that the control does not even pick up which is why on some tracks you can just spin randomly if you turn which is a bit crap for users without a wheel!

I would say so, yes. Otherwise, we might as all just give up and play fecking Mario Kart. And I for one, won't get my driving simulation kicks from guiding a fat Italian deewarf around a track, avoiding mushrooms or some other shat.
Just my opinion, of course.

Trigger extenders are a great and very cheap addition to the dual shock. Yes I know you shouldn't have to but you can moan and say that or spend £3! There's a fair amount of travel on the ps3 pad but the std design of the triggers doesn't really reflect this. Both vids look good, both games getting bought I win!
