how to get your carpets nice and clean any ideas?? also how do i remove chewing gum from my carpets as someone picked up a bit and trodden it into my carpets?
alos would you reccomend removing seats to get a good clean??

You can get carpet shampoos around for fairly cheap but I have never used them in my own car.

I just go over them with a hoover really thoroughly, if theres anything the hoover don't pick up then rub it down with some kind of hard brush... like a big nail brush or something. Just make sure its not too hard or it might shred a hole in the carpet.

Bag of ice cubes, rub down chewing gum with it to make it hard, butter knife to scrape it off,Spray carpet cleaner on a white towel and dab over it to pick up stains. Then white vinegar and washing up liquid with warm water (dab over).

cleaned my car wednesday and had a go at the chewing gum, found out that wd40 removed it from another forum so tried this, and now looks good as new
