Interior Help please

Hi,

I am getting myself a 182 cup interior and i was just making sure that i can fit the seats and door cards without any modifications to my mark 2 phase 1 car?

seats will go straight in but not sure on door cards as the window switches are in a differnt place

alright thanks mate, if the switches are in a different place does that mean they cant be wired up or its just gonna need a bit of modification?

Rear cards & seats will be fine mate.
The front door-cards won't fit at all as the Ph1 & Ph2 dash is different therefore so is the shape of the door-cards.

alright so i would need to do a phase 2 dash conversion to fit the front door cards then yea?

Cheaper to get the cloth part of your own door cards re-trimmed to match.

The "whole" dash is different!

Yea I will probably just get it retrimmed unless some1 has a cheap 182 dash going ? How much would a 182 dash cost?

lol.. cheaper to retrim.. alcantara available on ebay! or just be patient and get some door cards off a ph1 172! I wouldnt even think about going to the hassle of trying to fit a new dash!

the only reason i am thinking about the dash conversion is because i really like the strips 182 have on the dash etc, hmmm... i will have a look into it

try scrap yard for the dash, lots of 182's have lost the plot and started tree hugging over christmas.

I'd say 200-300 for a whole dash maybe, could be wrong

Complete ball ache to do a dashboard, someone looked into it but the sha[pes are completly different.

The work involved in the swap would be immense, but if you're dedicated enough then sure it can be done.
Just make sure you get the loom from the donor vehicle.

i think i will give the whole dash conversion a miss and just retrim my door cards i have the now, thanks for the help though everyone
