interior re-design

righto people!

the car is stripped out now what i want to do next is paint my doorcards etc etc as mine ore well brown! yuk! cars getting resprayed black was wondering what paint i should use to spray and how much i will need to use for this little lot

lower dash

centre console

stereo bit

front and rear door cards

bits above the windows (i.e most the plastic)

gonna all be done i black with red/silver detailing (i.e handels ash tray rear bits and bobs etc etc

anybody done it and got any advice for me what should i be using?

also after eiter some black carpet to cover up the void in the rear or maybe chequer plate? any body got any pics of different interiors?

Im gonne spray my dash black wiht things liek vents highlighted oin silver, gonna use the Folia tec stuff, the paint has to have a plasticiser in it, to enable it to flex.

Think ill sort of strip mine out, but keep the parcel shelf and boot encloure to hide the ICE, and then chequre plate over where the seats are. You need to decide on a colour scheme, ie mine will be black and silver (dash and blk carpet and chequreplate).

lunner, just go and get some self etch primer, some plastic primer and the colour you want in car paint, that will do exactly the same as the foliatec stuff at half the sodding price m8.

foliatec is expensive stuff - using it at the mo. Gotta be sooo careful - should see the state of my old r5 lol
