Intermittent xenon problem.

Not so much of a problem, as an annoyance. Sometimes the passenger xenon wont fire up. Turn lights off and then back on and it comes on fine.

Starter problem?

Could be or possibly ballast. Mine was doing this and it was down to water ingress due to a lack of rubber cover on the rear of the lamp. Lamp off, starter and bulb out and headlight went in the oven at 70 degrees to dry out and started working perfectly.

Best bet is swap the starter with the drivers side and see if the problem moves to the drivers side. Do the same with the bulb and then ballast to eliminate each one. If I were you I'd pick a dry day, get the bumper off and test each part - 10mins taking the bumper off saves a lot of swearing and fiddling around trying to squeeze your hand into awkward gaps with it on.

yer like jbc27 said it sounds like ballast. i had the same problem a few months back. New ballast for about £10 ebay sorted :)

I'm having the same problem with my drivers side headlight. It also flickers a bit when throwing it around a corner or hitting any bumps in the road. Will have to wait for a dry day to start swapping bits around and testing them.

Sometimes this could be due to it getting damp. I had this when there were floods and the arch liners weren't in.
